Chalan Galaide Project Paves the Way for Safer Communities

The Office of the Governor and Lieutenant Governor proudly marked the groundbreaking of Route 38, better known as Chalan Galaide, a long-awaited project that addresses years of community concern over road deterioration and erosion.

This vital infrastructure improvement is made possible through the collaborative efforts of PEGS (A&E), RNV Construction (contractor), and the Commonwealth Utilities Corporation, which contributed $117,000 toward the installation of a new water line to further enhance the area’s utility and road conditions.

This project represents not only progress in infrastructure but also a shared commitment to safer, more resilient communities across the CNMI.
