This Christmas season, the Lieutenant Governor and I would like to convey our heartfelt gratitude to government employees for their hard work and commitment to public service.
Particularly in this difficult time of slow economic recovery and painful austerity measures, the patience and goodwillof our public sector employees are greatly appreciated.
In recognition of that hard work and sacrifice, I am hereby authorizing Administrative Leave on Wednesday, December 24, 2025, and Friday, December 26, 2025, for non-essential employees of the Commonwealth Government’s Executive Branch.
Lieutenant Governor Mendiola and I wish you and your families a joyful Christmas, and remind the community not to drink and drive so holiday celebrations are safe for everyone.
