Lt. Governor Palacios and I, along with our Commonwealth, extend our deepest condolences to the family of the first COVID-19 related death on Guam. Our thoughts and prayers are with Governor Lou Leon Guerrero, her administration, and the people of Guam.
Today, Governor Ralph DLG. Torres announced that President Donald J. Trump has approved his March 3, 2020 request for federal assistance to aid ongoing CNMI efforts to combat the COVID-19 outbreak.
Pursuant to Directive 2020-05 by Governor Ralph DLG. Torres, the CNMI Department of Public Safety (DPS), will be strictly enforcing curfew laws for minors (under the age of 18) throughout the three municipalities (Saipan, Tinian and Aguiguan, and Rota) of the Commonwealth subject to 10 CMC § 3313, 10 CMC § 2703, and 10 CMC § 1503 of the Commonwealth Code.

The adoption of emergency rules and regulations for the CNMI Cannabis Commission (“Commission”) was unanimously passed during the Commission meeting held on March 10, 2020.
