The CNMI Department of Commerce announce the approval of the CNMI’s 2020 Prevailing Wage Study report for the CW-1 visa program.
The CNMI’s Nutrition Assistance Program funding availability for fiscal year 2021 is nearly half of the funding that was available in fiscal year 2020 which ends on September 30, 2020. The funding that will be available to the CNMI for FY 2021 is anticipated to be $22.733 million. Of this amount, $17.365 million will be allocated for Program Benefits.

Torres that the Department of the Interior has awarded $1,706,075 in Fiscal Year 2020 grant funding through the Office of Insular Affairs’ Energizing Insular Communities (EIC) program Capital Improvement Project (CIP) funding for the CNMI.
Governor Ralph DLG. Torres and Lt. Governor Arnold I. Palacios announced on Thursday that the Commonwealth Office of Transit Authority (COTA) was awarded $351,000 under the Federal Transit Authority (FTA) Emergency Relief Program for transit systems affected by major disasters that occurred in 2018.
