Governor David M. Apatang proudly proclaimed March 2026 as American Red Cross Month in the Commonwealth, joined by community partners, local Red Cross board members and volunteers, and special guests from the American Red Cross regional office, Renise L. Haili Bayne, Regional Disaster Officer, and Molly Schmidt, Regional Chief Executive Officer.
In his remarks, the Governor recognized and thanked the American Red Cross for more than 140 years of compassionate service, providing critical disaster relief, supporting military families, and equipping communities with lifesaving skills. He also acknowledged the vital role of local volunteers whose dedication continues to strengthen and uplift communities across the Commonwealth.
