Acting Governor Dennis James C. Mendiola, met with Major General Sherman, Commander of the Air Force Installation and Mission Support Center, and other military leaders to engage in discussions aimed at strengthening collaboration and enhancing a mutually beneficial partnership between the ongoing military buildup and the CNMI.
The discussions focused on expanding opportunities for local CNMI vendors to participate in military-related projects, promoting local economic development, and identifying ways the military’s presence and investments could create broader benefits for the Commonwealth.
