Seven years after Super Typhoon Yutu, the Northern Marianas College stands as a testament to resilience and progress with the grand opening of the Proa Union—a state-of-the-art, three-story, 40,000-square-foot student center designed to inspire learning, collaboration, and connection.
This milestone was made possible through the steadfast commitment of NMC’s leadership and project teams, the dedicated efforts of the Public Assistance Office in liaising with FEMA, and the unwavering support of the U.S. Department of Education and the U.S. Department of the Interior–Office of Insular Affairs.
