The Commonwealth’s voice was heard in Washington.

During the 902 Consultations recently held in Washington, D.C., Governor David M. Apatang and a unified CNMI delegation met with federal leaders to advance solutions that support economic stability, workforce sustainability, and stronger national security partnerships in the Pacific.

Engagements with the U.S. Department of the Interior, U.S. Department of Defense, U.S. Department of Labor, and U.S. Department of Homeland Security focused on building long-term collaboration that benefits the people of the Commonwealth.

The message was clear: the CNMI is committed to fiscal responsibility, strategic partnership, and a more stable and prosperous future for our islands. This work continues as formal working groups move key initiatives forward in the months ahead.
