The Department of Public Works, in partnership with our federal and local stakeholders, proudly marked a significant milestone with the ribbon cutting of the Route 33 (Beach Road) Improvements, Phase II. This achievement underscores the administration’s steadfast commitment to advancing critical infrastructure, improving public safety, and fostering long-term resilience for the people of the Commonwealth.
We extend our sincere gratitude to the U.S. Department of Transportation – Federal Highway Administration (Honolulu, HI), the U.S. Department of the Interior, the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021, Commonwealth Utilities Corporation, and GPPC, Inc. for their vital support and collaboration in making this project possible.
Together, we are laying the foundation for a stronger, safer, and more sustainable CNMI.
